Burnout: You that feeling. We’ve all been there before. Tired, stressed, forgetful, feeling like you don’t want to go to work. Develop practices each day that can help you manage and process the stress you’re experiencing so you feel better equipped and do not reach the final stage of burnout.
What’s the difference? There is a big misconception that by becoming a people manager you’re automatically a leader. This is not the case. There is a big distinction between managing and leading.
The New Way of Working: A year and a half ago our lives were completely upended when the Coronavirus swept the globe, leaving many of us to scramble to find new ways of working, living, and for some, schooling their children. Self care: Self care is vital for everyone, especially for a Highly Sensitive Person. For the Highly Sensitive Person it is essential that you focus on developing intentions that will allow you to thrive and use your gifts fully, by understanding what they are and finding ways to nurture and take care of yourself.
Superpowers: What superpowers come with being a highly sensitive person? Being highly sensitive means that you have sensory processing sensitivity where you notice subtle changes in stimuli and have deeper cognitive processing where your central nervous system is more sensitive than most.
The Highly Sensitive Person: Are you a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)? Have you ever been told that you’re “too sensitive” or “take things too personally?” If you have, you might be someone who is Highly Sensitive.
Mentoring: What does mentoring mean to you? Have you been a mentor? Or, have you been impacted by a mentor? How did they challenge you in a way that stretched you? I believe that there is a beautiful intersection between mentoring & coaching that can empower and enable long lasting change.
